LoopUp Releases Browser Button

LoopUp releases browser button, giving users a fast, accurate way to schedule conferences from within their browsers.

LONDON, 25 FEB 2013: LoopUp, the provider of simple, pain-free conference calls and online meetings, today announced the launch of its new ‘browser button’, further underlining its status as the company of choice for better everyday meetings.

With LoopUp’s browser button, meeting hosts are able to:

  • Access their LoopUp conference invite details from all major browsers
  • Paste their invite details into their regular email or calendar tool
  • Quickly add international access numbers as needed

By dragging the browser button icon into their toolbar, users always have a fast, accurate way to send out LoopUp conference invites. In addition to regular dial-in details, these invites include a join link, which lets everyone join by having LoopUp call out to them on a phone of their choice.

“We know that sending conference invitations can be a hassle – people often have to search for their details, and sometimes copy them down incorrectly or incompletely, meaning no-one can get on the call,” said Alex Breen, EVP Product at LoopUp. “We created an add-in for Outlook to solve for this, which helped many of our customers who use that email client. Now, we’re delighted to offer something that everyone can use, irrespective of their company’s email setup.”

The browser button is the latest addition to the LoopUp product suite, which includes a Web app, smartphone apps (iPhone, Android and BlackBerry), iPad app, and an add-in for Outlook. For more information, go to our support section.
