Silicon Valley Internship Programme (SVIP) partners with non-profit group Girls in Tech to boost the number of women applying for the scheme

SAN FRANCISCO, – July 14, 2015 – Silicon Valley Internship Programme (SVIP),recently announced its partnership with Girls in Tech to boost the number of female applicants taking part in the initiative. SVIP was founded by LoopUp’s co-CEO, Michael Hughes, and offers recent software engineering graduates a one-year paid internship with high-growth technology companies in the Bay Area. Girls in Tech is a global non-profit organization that seeks to empower women in technology and entrepreneurship. This partnership expands the remit of SVIP globally, with a view to increasing opportunity for female engineers.
