In a change from our product<\/a> or customer service team<\/a> being recognized for their excellence, I am delighted to announce that LoopUp\u2019s EVP and General Counsel, Robert Baugh, has been shortlisted for Solicitor of the Year in the In-house category in the prestigious 2014 Law Society Excellence Awards<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Robert has been with LoopUp since 2004 and has very ably managed our global legal matters since then.  As well as heading up this growing team, he has played a much wider role within LoopUp, including the business development and negotiation of strategic partnerships and his position on the company\u2019s executive committee.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first time he has been shortlisted: he was previously up for Solicitor of the Year \u2013 In-house in the 2009 Law Society Excellence Awards and, perhaps surprisingly, Young In-house Lawyer of the Year in the British Legal Awards the same year.  His being shortlisted is a great testament to his hard work, dedication and talent, and very well deserved.<\/p>\n

Winners will be announced at an awards dinner on Thursday 9 October 2014 in London \u2013 good luck Bob!<\/p>\n
