Copilot, if you watched anything from this year’s Microsoft Ignite, you’ll be familiar with this technology. During this webinar Zach is joined by Michael Boggia from LoopUp and they discuss the Microsoft Copilot, what that looks like in Microsoft Teams Phone and talk through some real-world scenarios.
How can Copilot your organisation? With Copilot being available across a number of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Teams and M365 chat this means that no matter what part of the Microsoft ecosystem you use you’ll be able to benefit from Copilot. Interaction methods with Copilot can fall into these 3 categories:
- Catch Up Using Copilot to summarise large volumes of data into more manageable and easily understandable chunks for you to use. For example, “List the key questions the customer asked during that meeting.”
- Create Copilot can create fresh documents based on other parts of information based on what is available in Microsoft 365. For example, “Can you create a pros and cons list based on this marketing campaign presentation.”
- Ask Like other language models you can ask Copilot questions for it to answer, such as how to complete a specific formula in Excel or what did everyone agree on in a meeting.
Not only is Copilot available in Teams Meetings and Chats, its also available in Teams Phone, this addition can make your Teams Phone experience better by offering tools such as, Real time summarisation of your call, being able to ask Copilot questions such as listing unanswered questions and action items during a call. When transferring you can give the person you are transferring too a summarisation of the call, so they are best equipped to answer the query without having to ask the same questions again. As well, this is available whether you are in a 1:1 Teams call or PSTN call brining extended functionality to the PSTN call thanks to Teams and Copilot.
Michael talks us through the three chapters of Teams Phones from his wealth of experience with dealing with customers throughout Microsoft’s UC journey. Ultimately landing on that we are now (thanks to Copilot) in a new age for Teams Phone where more and better features are becoming available to edge out competition.
