Branded Calling Policy
Version 1.1, last updated 29 April 2026We support enterprise onboarding for the Branded Calling ID (BCID) ecosystem. As an authorized BCID Onboarding Agent, we collect and manage the required caller information (“Caller Information”) needed for BCID vetting and registration.
How to Get Started
Before your organization can participate in the BCID ecosystem, you must provide required Caller Information so your identity, telephone numbers, and rich call data (RCD) can be vetted and validated. You can begin the registration process here.
Caller Information Requirements
For details on what information is required (including company information, telephone number authorization, caller display name, call reason, and call logo requirements), please reach out to support using this link.
Our Onboarding Policies & Procedures
Our policies describe:
- How we collect Caller Information
- Requirements for Letters of Authorization (LOA)
- How we transmit information securely to BCID‑authorized Vetting Agents
- How updates to Caller Information must be submitted
- Our dispute resolution process for vetting decisions
You can review these policies below.
Onboarding Policies & Procedures
LoopUp is a CTIA-approved Branded Calling ID (BCID) Authorized Partner, operating in the role of Onboarding Agent. This page provides the public information that LoopUp is required to make available under its BCID Onboarding Agent Agreement.
It is organised by audience:
- Prospective customers — businesses interested in registering to use Branded Calling ID through LoopUp.
- Consumers — individuals who have received a call displayed using Branded Calling ID and wish to raise a complaint.
- Intellectual property rights holders — third parties asserting that a Caller Display Name, Call Logo, or Call Reason used by one of our Registrants infringes their trademark or copyright rights.
For prospective customers (Registrants)
LoopUp acts as an Onboarding Agent for Branded Calling ID. We collect and submit information from prospective Registrants to a CTIA-approved Vetting Agent, who vets and validates the information so that the Registrant’s calls can be branded under BCID.
LoopUp maintains written policies and procedures setting out the Caller Information we collect from Registrants, the documentation we require, the steps in the vetting and validation process, and the additional onboarding requirements that apply. Consumer complaints
If you are a consumer who has received a call displayed using Branded Calling ID and wish to raise a complaint — for example about the content of a Caller Display Name, Call Logo, or Call Reason, or about the conduct of the calling party — you may contact LoopUp using the channels below. We will acknowledge your complaint and route it to the responsible party for review.

Intellectual property complaints
LoopUp takes intellectual property rights seriously. If you believe that a Caller Display Name, Call Logo, or Call Reason used by one of our Registrants infringes your trademark or copyright, you may submit a claim to LoopUp’s designated Dispute Resolution Agent.
LoopUp operates two separate IP Dispute Resolution Frameworks, both approved by BCID LLC: a Trademark Dispute Resolution Framework and a Copyright Dispute Resolution Framework. The Copyright framework is consistent with the notice-and-takedown procedures of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). LoopUp also maintains a repeat infringer policy under which a Registrant’s BCID account may, in appropriate circumstances, be terminated.
The full text of both frameworks — including the information that must be included in a claim, the timelines we follow, the counter-claim process, and the role of the Trademark Claim Review Board — is set out in our IP Dispute Resolution Frameworks document:

To submit a claim, or to request a copy of the frameworks document by email, please contact LoopUp’s designated Dispute Resolution Agent:
