In a change from our product or customer service team being recognized for their excellence, I am delighted to announce that LoopUp’s EVP and General Counsel, Robert Baugh, has been shortlisted for Solicitor of the Year in the In-house category in the prestigious 2014 Law Society Excellence Awards.
Robert has been with LoopUp since 2004 and has very ably managed our global legal matters since then. As well as heading up this growing team, he has played a much wider role within LoopUp, including the business development and negotiation of strategic partnerships and his position on the company’s executive committee.
This isn’t the first time he has been shortlisted: he was previously up for Solicitor of the Year – In-house in the 2009 Law Society Excellence Awards and, perhaps surprisingly, Young In-house Lawyer of the Year in the British Legal Awards the same year. His being shortlisted is a great testament to his hard work, dedication and talent, and very well deserved.
Winners will be announced at an awards dinner on Thursday 9 October 2014 in London – good luck Bob!
