This week the LoopUp team hit the floor at UC EXPO 2017, held at the ExCel London exhibition center. The hall was packed with IT vendors and customers for two days of discussions and presentations on the role of unified communications in the enterprise — where things are, where they’re going, and how to get there.
Attendees at UC EXPO 2017 learned about the latest in communication technologies, digital workplace, collaboration and more.
Visitors to stand F129 were offered a live demo of LoopUp’s premium remote experience, from clicking the link to join a meeting to viewing screen sharing across multiple devices.
Along with the walk-through of LoopUp’s ease of use, and visibility into who’s joined and who’s talking throughout the remote meeting experience, visitors received a number of mobile-friendly accessories and goodies, as well as educational materials into choosing the right conferencing provider, security considerations and more.
Day two of the event, the messaging took a focus toward the future of Unified Communications and innovations that are disrupting the industry.
COO Marcus Greensit delivered a keynote looking at why dial-in still dominates web and video conferencing. In the session, he addressed the barriers for users to engage in new technologies such as web and video conferencing, leaning toward the known characteristics of dial-in instead, while also looking at how to guide them toward a better, more approachable, experience overall.
Overall, it was a great event, with engaging discussions around the role of technology when it comes to enterprise communications and collaboration. It will be interesting to see where things progress by the time we are all back at UC EXPO 2018!
