At LoopUp, we’re always interested in opportunities to get involved in the local business community, so when we were asked to take part in the San Francisco State University (SFSU) College of Business‘ Business Partner Program, we were happy to accept. We were also delighted to be featured in their brochure; see photo above, featuring (on the left page) Michael Hughes, our co-CEO, with (on the right page) current LoopUp employees who are SFSU graduates (from left to right): Wilfredo Santillan, Miguel Corpus, Jeff Palin, and Kristina Caballero.
The Business Partner Program encourages links between College of Business students and a network of trusted business partners. As a fast-growing company, we’re always seeking to expand, so access to great candidates is a must. When it comes to expanding our sales team, we are always looking for ambitious, smart graduates who are passionate about working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. We are grateful for the Business Partner Program’s participation in our Business Development Associate (BDA) assessment day, helping us to target candidates who have been pre-screened for specific roles, which has enhanced the efficiency and effectiveness of the hiring process.
We look forward to our continuing involvement in the Business Partner Program, such as the talk that Michael Boggia, a sales team lead in San Francisco, recently gave to San Francisco State University College of Business students during an event designed to introduce SFSU undergraduate and MBA students to companies in the local area who are actively hiring. On that note, I should say that we are currently hiring for Business Development Associates in our San Francisco, Boston and London offices.
