LoopUp Expands into the Caribbean

LoopUp opens a Barbados office to spearhead its entry into the Caribbean region.

LONDON, 4 October 2012: LoopUp, the business collaboration and remote meetings company, today announced its arrival in the Caribbean with the opening of an office and local subsidiary in Barbados. This announcement marks LoopUp’s entry into a fourth regional hub as the company continues its international expansion strategy.

“We’re excited to engage with the Caribbean business world, to understand the market on the ground and discuss how our product might help in everyday business,” said Steve Flavell, co-CEO of LoopUp.

Business development initiatives in the region will be led by Wayne Atwell, Director for the Caribbean Region. “The Caribbean’s inter-island and international business links are ideal for LoopUp’s award-winning conferencing solution,” said Atwell. “It’s our aim to make remote meetings a mainstream business tool in the region, as a way to help businesses enhance their daily productivity and manage travel expenses.”

LoopUp offers simpler, smoother and more productive remote meetings. Customers can leverage LoopUp’s apps for the Web, Outlook®, BlackBerry®, iPhone and Android™ to: join the meeting with a click; always know who’s on the call and who’s speaking; check out attendee LinkedIn profiles; eliminate distracting background noise; record the call; and share screens on-the-fly. The product has been designed for painless implementation and to require little or no user training.

Regional enterprises and organisations interested in learning more about LoopUp, and service providers interested in exploring distribution partnership opportunities, should contact Wayne Atwell via caribbean@loopup.com.
