Join Your Meeting

LoopUp provides a better way for hosts and guests to join remote meetings without having to dial in.

As a Host:

Using LoopUp for Outlook® or our mobile app:

From LoopUp for Outlook, click ‘Enter My Meeting’ and then select or enter the phone number you want to join from. LoopUp will call you on that phone number to join you to your meeting.

From our mobile app, touch ‘Enter Meeting’ or ‘Join’ and then enter the phone number you want to join from. LoopUp will call you on that phone number to join you to your meeting.

Click the link:

Just click the LoopUp link in your meeting invite to enter your meeting. Confirm your name and the number you want to join from and click ‘Call Me Now’. LoopUp will call you on the number you entered – no dialing required.

As host, if you’re not already signed in on that device, you will be required to sign in for security purposes.

Log in to account.loopup.com:

You can also log in to account.loopup.com and click ‘Enter My Meeting’ to enter your meeting. Simply confirm your name, then enter or select the phone number you want to join from and click ‘Call Me Now’. LoopUp will call you on that number to join you to your meeting – no dialing required.

Traditional dial-in method:

Of course, you can still dial in if you prefer. Dial the phone number that is local to you and enter your host dial-in code, which is available in your welcome email or by logging in to account.loopup.com.

If you choose to dial in, to control and manage your meeting:

  • Click ‘View’ or ‘Enter Meeting’ from your mobile app, or
  • Click ‘Enter My Meeting’ from the LoopUp for Outlook, or
  • Sign in to account.loopup.com and click ‘Enter My Meeting’

If you join with LoopUp for Outlook or by signing in to account.loopup.com, you can also share your screen with your guests if desired.

As a Guest/Participant:

The easiest way for a guest to join is by clicking the link in the invite. The link is automatically included in all invitations created with LoopUp’s invite tools.

Join by clicking the link:

After clicking the link in their invite, the guest will be prompted to enter their name and phone number.  LoopUp will call that phone and connect the guest to the meeting.

Traditional dial-in method:

If you choose, you can include dial-in numbers in your meeting invites, so guests can use the traditional method of dialing in instead. The guest should use the dial-in number local to them and then enter the guest dial-in code when prompted.

If a guest dials in, they won’t be able to see who’s on the meeting or who’s talking, nor see any screen sharing taking place. To view the meeting and screen sharing, guests who have dialed in need to click the link in the meeting invite, select ‘Enter Meeting Key’ when prompted, and enter the Meeting Key provided.
